Occasionry

About Occasionry

Where this came from

Occasionry comes from the people who make My Pollyanna, a family Christmas gift exchange site that started in 2008.

My Pollyanna was built for one thing. But the pieces inside it, inviting people, sharing lists, voting, signing up for food, fit plenty of other get-togethers. Occasionry puts them to work for those too, starting with book clubs.

What it does

You start a group for an occasion and invite people by email. Everyone gets the pages that occasion needs. A book club votes on what to read and keeps a list of every book. Every group gets a food sign-up, polls and a group chat. Christmas gift exchanges stay on My Pollyanna.

One account for both sites

Occasionry and My Pollyanna share one account system. If you already use My Pollyanna, sign in here with the same email and password. Your Christmas groups stay on My Pollyanna, and everything else lives here.

How it pays for itself

It is free to use. When you buy something through a store link on the site, the store may pay us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes what we suggest. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

We do not sell anyone's information, and we do not show your email address to other members.

Who runs it

Occasionry is built and run by Our Programmer LLC, a small software company in Pennsylvania.
